We are proud to announce that the history department has added a link to Panthernet called del.icio.us. By clicking on the link to del.icio.us BFS students can access a growing list of history department-approved websites for use in class and on research projects. These websites are geared towards 5th-12th graders.

The idea for this link came from a collaboration between the history department and the Department of Information Management Services. History teachers were interested in creating a database of websites, exploiting the innumerable resources of the Internet, while steering students towards instructive and appropriate content. This database includes links to museums, libraries, educational sites, news services and more. It is also a constantly evolving list, to be continually updated by history department teachers. While students will have access to the database, it can only be edited by faculty.
